The Bishops Arms 

Well let's set the scene 

Saturday night out with the Boss ( the girlfriend ) fancy a bite to eat and then to the movies sounds nice, and don't get the wrong idea the popcorn trick was not on the menu . 

Porter steak & chicken and toast I know what you think we'll nice guy really splashing  out there , but it was just a quick bite , come on the movie as well not long after Christmas and before payday.

The chicken on toast 

Well if you like over cooked chicken that's dry and I guess must have been a grandma chicken a tough old bird then it's for you , the taste was was was was dam can't even find the words bland is to good to say.

The porter steak 

Mmm if you like to chew your food for a good ten minutes to tenderise it you in luck.

But if you have trouble of false teeth then beware but it does come with a sort of gravy sauce to help. 

Two beers Carlsberg probably the best larger in world so they say.

 Well not tonight it tasted like dish water so flat no bubbles I think the glasses still had traces from washing.

Time to pay after waiting 30 mins nearly walked out but that would not be right so when finally got the bill was charge for two extra beers that did not have one bad beer was enough .

Service with a smile well when you eventually see the waitress you get one 

Overall rating out of ten unfortunately pushing for a 1

If they ever put the Bishops Arms back on him he might cook better

 Oh and watch out for the odd burger of the floor to practice your skating as the kitchen is wrong end of the eating area and if the bar is busy you might be lucky to catch someone's food as they pass.

But for a happy ending  the movie Taken 3 was very good & Desert was taken at home 😊
